    Capybara Go Beginner's Guide

    Capybarago Beginner Guide

Hi friends, this is a beginner's guide for Capybara. This video will teach you the basics of the game and provide useful tips to help you progress. Let's go!

This video will go through the following topics:

    • Equipment
    • Pets
    • Mount
    • Artifact
    • Collectibles
    • Talent
    • Challenges
    • Dungeon
    • Limited Time Events
    • Guild

    Chapter 1: Equipment

There are four standard builds in this game: Critical, Combo, Counter, and Skill Damage. You can also combine different builds to make a hybrid build. For example, Combo and Counter are easy to combine because the pet Slime King boosts both.

There are two types of equipment: S Equipment and Normal Equipment. S Equipment is generally better than Normal Equipment because of its utility. However, a highly upgraded Normal Equipment will sometimes be better than S Equipment. For example, a Legendary +2 Nomad Bow is better than an Epic +2 Angel Bow. If you are a free-to-play player, I suggest building around the best weapon you can find.

    Build Details

    Build #1: Crit Build

This build focuses on crit rate and crit damage.
Best Weapons: Esos like Whisperer or Angel Bow; however, a common and easy-to-get alternative is Nomad Bow, which is very common and easy to upgrade. Once upgraded to Mythic, it increases your attack by 10% per crit.
Armor: Tunic increases your attack every round by 10% for three rounds. Once upgraded to Legendary, it increases your attack by 50% after five rounds.
Rings: Dragon Ball Ring increases basic attack crit rate; Eagle Ring increases basic attack damage by 25%.
Necklace: Best in slot is Bloody Grail, which inflicts vulnerability on enemies.
Mount: Luminous Dragon increases crit rate by 15% and crit damage by 75% after five rounds. Also, get the Sphinx for the 10% crit rate passive.
Pet: Unicorn is the best in slot because of the crit rate increase.

    Build #2: Combo Build

This build focuses on combo rate and basic attack damage.
Best Weapons: S swords like Blade of Justice or Skysplitter; however, a common and easy-to-get alternative is Warrior Sword. Once upgraded to Mythic, it increases your attack by 5% per combo.
    Armor: Tunic boosts your damage.
Rings: Eagle Ring increases your basic attack damage.
Necklace: Best in slot is Glory Proof, which boosts your base basic attack with true damage.
Mount: Diego increases combo by one, so you can combo twice per round, and increases combo rate by 20%. Also, get Lauda for the 10% combo rate passive.
Pet: Slime King is the best because of its combo rate passive boost.

    Build #3: Counter Build

This build focuses on counter rate, counter damage, and basic attack damage.
Weapons: Use S weapons like Mushroom Hammer, Durian Hammer, or Shadow Lance.
Armor: Dragon Armor is best in slot for its healing. Alternative armor is Silver Scale Plate, which increases counter rate.
Rings: NES Ring is okay for the attack bonus; if you don't have an S ring, use Eagle Ring for the basic attack boost.
Necklace: Glory Proof is good for the basic attack bonus.
Mount: Catastrophe increases damage reduction and control resistance. King Kong increases passive counter rate.
Pet: Slime King is the best because of its counter rate passive boost.

    Build #4: Skill Damage Build

This build focuses on rage and skill damage.
Weapons: Use S weapons like Reaper Staff, Star Staff, or Bishop Staff.
Armor: Tunic is good for its attack boost.
Rings: Judgement Ring provides skill critical rate.
Necklace: Reckoning Badge boosts skill damage.
Mount: Sphinx is best in slot as its active skill increases skill critical rate by 10%.
Pet: Elsa is best in slot; Purple Demon also increases damage taken by enemies.

    Upgrade Guide for Equipment

Capybara Go has a downgrade feature that allows you to regain 100% of the blueprints and equipment enhancement stones you use to upgrade your gears. However, don't downgrade Legendary +3 equipment because you will not get back the original equipment you used for upgrading to +3. Also, once you upgrade your gear to Legendary, you can't downgrade to Epic; the same applies to Mythic gear.

    Chapter 2: Pets

There are 27 pets in the game. You can deploy three pets when you reach pet egg level 9. Use pets that support your build.

    Pet Items

There are three different types of pet items: Pet Eggs, Pet Food, and Spirit Stones. There are limited time growth events for pet eggs and spirit stones; only use these items during the events. Use pet food to upgrade your three main pets and try to upgrade all pets to level 15 for passive stat boosts to attack, health, and defense.

If you are a new player, your top priority will be to level up pet egg level to 9 so that you can deploy three pets. At pet level 10, you'll have the chance to draw the overpowered immortal pet, Elsa. Spirit Stones are used to provide passive bonuses to your pets. Get passive boosts to support the build you're aiming for.

    Tier Ranking for Pets:

    • S Tier: Elsa (best pet), Elephant (healing).
    • A Tier: Situational based on your build, play style, and mode.

    Chapter 3: Mounts

There are two types of mounts: Basic Mount and Advanced Mount. For Basic Mount, you start off with a Crocodile, which can be upgraded to a Big Horn at max tier. Mounts give huge percentage boosts to attack, health, and defense, and provide passive dodge rate.

    Upgrading Basic Mounts

The Basic Mount is upgraded using horseshoes, which can be obtained from the dungeon, Black Market, Guild shop, and packs. There's an event for using horseshoes called the Mount Growth Event; only use your horseshoes during this event as it gives bonus horseshoes and divine hammers.

    Chapter 4: Artifacts

There are two types of artifacts: Basic Artifact and Advanced Artifact. For Basic Artifact, you start with a tier zero Sword of Victory Oath, which can be upgraded to Tier 15 at max level. Artifacts provide huge percentage boosts to attack, health, and defense, and ignore the dodge rate provided by mounts.

    Chapter 5: Collectibles

There are 43 collectibles, divided into 11 sets. Completing a set grants a set bonus. Collectibles can be upgraded to level 10 and are obtained from chests. There is a chest growth event in the game; only open chests during this event.

    Chapter 6: Talents

Talents provide passive stat boosts in attack, health, and defense, as well as bonuses to gold gain, experience gain, and stamina. Gold is used to upgrade talents and can be obtained through various ways, but the best sources are the Tower Challenge and using stamina to travel.

    Chapter 7: Challenges

Different challenges include the Tower, Arena, Dungeon, and Goblin Miner. Always do the challenges daily. The Tower Challenge is a good source of gold, equipment enhancement stones, and gold keys. Use tickets wisely and never buy them with gems.

    Chapter 8: Dungeons

There are different types of dungeons in Capybara Go. Always use your dungeon attempts daily; some stages will require luck to pass.

Chapter 9: Limited Time Growth Events

There are two types of limited time growth events: with leaderboard and without. Always save your resources for these events.

    Chapter 10: Guild

For guild raids, always use the two attacks daily and coordinate with your guild. Donate daily to the Guild Hall to level up faster.

    Black Market Shop

The black market sells different items daily. What to buy depends on what you need to progress further in the game.
